30 Seconds to…
Original project of artist dolls and photographs
Artists: Elena Lisina (dolls) and Svetlana Mikhaleva (photos)
PROJECT
Project consists of two parts:
30 Seconds to Crash (dreamin’ of green) and 30 Seconds to Green
In the first part we expressed our worries about the fate of our city and our Planet, worries about human beings and the Life. In the modern city, among all glass, cars and thousands of people, a person often feels tired, lonely and depressed… We all are connected much more than we suppose. We all are more alike than different! All together we can change the World, make it more Human OR we can continue what we do and it can lead to a CRASH…

In the second part we imagined what could be if people would lead the Earth to the crush and everything alive died… Then some other creatures would settle here. They would heal all the wounds and would give another life to this Planet created for the Life, but there would be no people anymore…
This project is the result of collaboration of two artists. I put my thoughts into the concept dolls and then Svetlana added her visions creating the photographs. The main idea was synthesis of Arts that together give more impressive result.
HISTORY
The result of our first experience of collaborating was quite good – two series of photographs 30 Seconds to Mars and A Beautiful Lie on two doll collections.
So, we got the inspiration to continue. Another source of inspiration came from the American rock-band 30 Seconds to Mars.
The video for the song A Beautiful Lie was filmed in Greenland, 200 miles to the North from the Arctic Circle. After the shoot the leader of the band Jared Leto applied to the people of the Earth.
He simply said that standing there on the iceberg and hearing the sound of cracking, talking to worried locals he felt the REALITY of the disaster and how close it was. He just said: we all are guilty and we all are responsible… The band started the organization 30 Seconds to Green:

Svetlana and I joined this organization. We know that we are not specialists to solve the problem, but artists who can help to form the public opinion. Can we prevent the crash? OR decide that we can do nothing about that and let it be…
